This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create and implement a regional market strategy aimed at multifamily owners, developers, architects, and asset management firms.
• Increase product specifications and market share for Fortune Brands Outdoors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing leaders and specification influencers in the multifamily development sector.
• Preserve existing business and seek new project opportunities.
• Collaborate with territory managers, professional dealers, fabricators, and distributor networks to boost revenue.
• Assist multifamily developer projects from specification to completion.
• Contribute to regional initiatives that promote national multifamily developer contract strategies.
• Utilize finance, product, operations, and marketing resources to provide customer solutions and drive profitable growth.
• Travel within the territory to strengthen and enhance account relationships.
• Over 5 years of proven success in driving multifamily specification of building materials through both contract and project avenues.
• Direct experience in major metropolitan areas.
• Established history of building productive relationships with purchasing and specification decision-makers in multifamily development organizations.
• Experience in expanding business at the multifamily builder level.
• Proficient in developing and maintaining channel partner relationships across distribution and dealer networks.
• Capability to operate independently and manage a complex, multi-stakeholder territory while achieving measurable revenue results.
• Skilled in translating finance, operations, marketing, and product resources into customer-facing solutions.
• Valid State Driver’s License required.
• Background in contract negotiation within the building materials or construction industry is a plus.
• Experience in managing or contributing to P&L accountability in a sales or business development role is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the hospitality sector is a plus.
• Up to 50% travel is necessary, with approximately two overnight trips each month.
• Preference for candidates based in or around Los Angeles, San Diego, or Dallas, with easy access to a major airport.
