
Business Development Manager – Microsoft AI Workforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement business development strategies aimed at enhancing revenue growth for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, Teams, Business Premium, and related services.
• Establish and oversee a pipeline of opportunities through Sherweb's partner ecosystem.
• Discover, qualify, and pursue new business prospects with both existing and potential partners.
• Provide guidance to partners on creating sales motions focused on Modern Work and AI.
• Promote Copilot readiness, adoption, and growth opportunities among partners and customers.
• Assist in partner enablement initiatives to foster profitable and sustainable Microsoft cloud practices.
• Align Microsoft solutions with the business challenges and outcomes faced by partners and customers.
• Work in collaboration with marketing and enablement teams on campaigns, webinars, workshops, and partner engagement activities.
• Present sales pitches, product positioning, business reviews, and opportunity planning sessions.
• Maintain forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM data integrity.
• Stay informed about Microsoft technologies, licensing updates, AI advancements, and market trends.
• Support cross-selling and upselling initiatives within Sherweb's Microsoft portfolio.
• Meet and surpass assigned sales, revenue, and performance objectives.
• Collaborate with technical experts, partner success teams, and Microsoft stakeholders to advance Sherweb's growth goals and Microsoft's AI-first transformation strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or channel sales within the technology sector.
• Familiarity with Microsoft cloud solutions, SaaS offerings, or managed services.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Teams, and Modern Work workloads.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at various levels.
• Strong skills in prospecting, opportunity management, and closing deals.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business insight and consultative selling capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing, and remote work environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the United States and Canada as required.
• Experience within an MSP, VAR, CSP, distributor, or Microsoft partner ecosystem is preferred.
• Experience in selling Microsoft 365, Copilot, Security, or cloud subscription services is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Microsoft's partner programs and incentive structures is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Security attach opportunities, including Defender, Entra, and Purview is a plus.
• Experience in driving customer adoption, utilization, and cloud growth initiatives is desirable.
• Microsoft certifications are considered an asset.
• Fluency in English is required.
