This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop the New York pipeline from the ground up through targeted account lists, outbound efforts, events, referrals, and partner channels.
• Engage with general counsels, compliance heads, legal operations, and business owners at banks, asset management firms, funds, and insurance companies.
• Transform thought leadership and established relationships into sales discussions.
• Manage the commercial process from start to finish, encompassing qualification, discovery, scoping, proposals, and final signatures.
• Collaborate with the firm’s attorneys on scoping and proposals.
• Convert legal challenges into commercial propositions for approval by internal buyers.
• Navigate procurement, security assessments, and panel processes within regulated institutions.
• Establish positioning and create sales materials for the AI-driven law firm.
• Incorporate market feedback into the development of future productized legal services.
• Develop CRM systems, reporting, and automation for a scalable sales process.
• Recruit for the commercial team as the US business expands.
• Collaborate with the firm’s lawyers and founders to penetrate the US market.
• Several years of experience in enterprise or complex B2B sales, business development, or client-facing consulting roles.
• Proven track record of successful closures.
• Experience selling to financial institutions or professional service providers.
• Proficient in managing six or seven-figure deals and navigating long sales cycles.
• Skilled in building a pipeline from scratch.
• Capable of conducting in-depth discussions with general counsels and discerning when to involve lawyers.
• Organized and self-motivated with precise pipeline management skills.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Native or fluent in English.
• Residing in New York.
• Existing connections with general counsels, compliance, or legal operations leaders at banks, funds, or insurers (preferred).
• Background in law, legal tech, or financial services, or experience selling to regulated entities (preferred).
• Experience in developing AI automations, agents, or workflows (preferred).
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Willingness to relocate to New York if currently based elsewhere.
