
Business Development Manager β LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Formulate and implement strategies for growth within government, public safety, intelligence, and law enforcement sectors throughout Latin America.
β’ Create and sustain a strategic pipeline of opportunities while achieving or surpassing quarterly and annual booking goals.
β’ Keep the Target Account Selling plans updated.
β’ Navigate the procurement, tendering, and contracting processes of government entities while ensuring adherence to local and regional regulations.
β’ Represent SS8 at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and meetings with customers.
β’ Collaborate with product, marketing, legal, and operations teams to craft customized solutions.
β’ Lead the development of proposals, presentations, bids, and responses to RFI/RFPs.
β’ Build and nurture executive-level relationships with government stakeholders, industry partners, systems integrators, and consultants.
β’ Develop and oversee strategic partnerships to widen market reach and accelerate growth.
β’ Provide market intelligence and customer insights to inform go-to-market strategies, competitive positioning, and product enhancement.
β’ Maintain precise opportunity forecasts and account plans to support business planning and revenue growth.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management targeting international governments or public sector clients.
β’ Proven track record of developing and closing complex, high-value opportunities involving multiple stakeholders.
β’ Familiarity with government procurement, tendering, or contracting processes in international markets.
β’ Strong skills in relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication.
β’ Experience in selling to or supporting government agencies, law enforcement, public safety, intelligence, defense, or telecommunications organizations is preferred.
β’ Experience conducting business throughout Latin America and an understanding of regional market dynamics.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
β’ Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
β’ Proficiency in Portuguese or additional languages is an advantage.
