This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
β’ Conduct market exploration and develop expertise throughout the Northeast region.
β’ Align facility capabilities and capacity with market demands.
β’ Identify industrial customers and sub-verticals while comprehending market dynamics, competitors, partners, and pricing structures.
β’ Maintain and implement a pipeline to identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities.
β’ Engage with key customer stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of their requirements.
β’ Develop solutions that capitalize on Divert's offerings.
β’ Champion the Voice of the Customer within the team and the broader organization.
β’ Communicate market challenges and opportunities effectively.
β’ Ensure a seamless, concierge-level experience throughout business development and onboarding processes.
β’ Facilitate a successful transition of customers to the Customer Success team.
β’ Collaborate with Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, Product, and Operations teams.
β’ Travel 25β50% annually.
β’ Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
β’ 2β4 years of experience in business development, customer acquisition, and project execution.
β’ 2β4 years of experience in the energy, recycling, food & beverage, and/or transportation sectors.
β’ A valid driver's license is required for travel.
β’ Exceptional communication skills with an understanding of diverse audience needs.
β’ Proven success in data analysis within a commercial or business development context.
β’ Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
β’ Proficiency with standard business software, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
β’ Experience in physical operations, such as plant operations, manufacturing, or similar fields.
β’ Capability to build customer pipelines, foster relationships, and close deals effectively.
β’ Ability to excel in a high-growth environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Demonstrated interest in sustainability and/or firsthand industry experience.
β’ Experience with solution sales related to liquid (DAF/SAF sludge) waste, palletized waste, or physical operations, such as plant operations, manufacturing, or similar roles.
