This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Foster strategic business development within the designated market sector, concentrating on Recreation Vehicles, Energy Infrastructure, and Rigid Components.
• Create and execute a comprehensive strategic market expansion plan.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for LyondellBasell across various business segments.
• Formulate a strategic growth roadmap that identifies new applications, material deficiencies, prospective customers and OEMs, as well as market competition.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to gain support and effectively execute the growth roadmap.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers among customers.
• Utilize Salesforce and Accolade to manage the opportunity and development pipeline through the stage-gate process alongside a cross-functional team.
• Create, implement, and maintain key account plans for major customers and prospects.
• Lead project teams in the development of new materials, including sustainability efforts.
• Communicate successes of OEM and Tier molder across the marketplace.
• Oversee key accounts and propel business growth.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a Scientific, Technical, or Business-related field is preferred, or 5+ years of experience in a relevant domain.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a commercial or technical capacity, with knowledge of the consumer market in B-B sales.
• Experience in Industrial Business Development, sales, or technical roles, preferably with Polypropylene compounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Project Management experience in a related field is required.
• Technical knowledge of polymers concerning application performance and material specifications is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to manage in a matrix organization, including global teams and business partners.
• Proficiency in selling value.
• Results-oriented, data-driven, with strong analytical skills.
• A customer-centric mindset is essential.
• Excellent decision-making capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort in technical settings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
