This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Identify, develop, and secure new service opportunities for substations, transformers, and high-voltage equipment within U.S. industrial markets.
• Formulate and implement strategic business development plans that align with long-term growth goals.
• Establish trusted relationships with customers, partners, sales teams, and technical consultants.
• Comprehend customer operational challenges and effectively position service programs, agreements, and lifecycle solutions.
• Perform market research and assess industry trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities.
• Collaborate with sales and market development teams to devise and execute account capture strategies.
• Build, manage, and convert a substantial pipeline of opportunities while delivering regular progress updates.
• Ensure adherence to relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Advocate for Hitachi Energy's core values of safety, integrity, collaboration, and customer focus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a comparable commercial role.
• Proven experience working with industrial clients in sectors such as oil & gas, mining, metals, semiconductors, renewables, or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of energy infrastructure, power systems, transformer services, substations, or high-voltage equipment.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
• Commitment to compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
