This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
• Identify unaddressed customer needs, market gaps, and emerging opportunities that align with the strategic priorities established by Global Market Managers.
• Create new business opportunities by pinpointing potential customers, applications, markets, and strategic partnerships.
• Build and oversee a qualified pipeline from lead generation through to commercialization and closure.
• Cultivate relationships with key customer stakeholders to comprehend business needs, technical requirements, and growth opportunities.
• Implement growth initiatives that align with market strategies, revenue targets, and business priorities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Product Management, and Operations to develop customer-driven solutions.
• Formulate customer value propositions, business cases, and commercialization strategies.
• Assess opportunities based on market potential, strategic alignment, customer value, competitive positioning, and business impact.
• Track industry trends, competitive activities, technology advancements, and customer changes to provide actionable market insights.
• Support key accounts and cross-selling initiatives across various products, applications, and regions.
• Maintain precise CRM activity and pipeline reporting, monitoring progress, conversion rates, and anticipated business impact.
• Represent Americhem in interactions with customers and at industry events to enhance relationships, build market presence, and discover new opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial strategy, preferably within the plastics, polymer, or chemical manufacturing industries.
• Demonstrated success in building customer relationships, executing strategic agreements, and collaborating across functions in B2B settings.
• Experience with masterbatch, compounding, or specialty material solutions is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Capability to access and penetrate accounts thoroughly and effectively.
