
Business Development Manager – Fenestration & Screen Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel the ongoing expansion of Transpatec®, ETTLIN Smart Textiles' esteemed insect screen fabric, within the U.S. market.
• Create new business prospects across the U.S. landscape.
• Identify and foster relationships with insect screen system providers, screen fabricators, fenestration distributors, franchise and multi-location screen installation networks, and other strategic partners.
• Cultivate connections with companies that engage professional installers, dealers, and end customers in the residential fenestration and screening sector.
• Advance selected opportunities with window and door manufacturers, screen frame producers, and fenestration component suppliers.
• Guide potential customers from the initial product introduction and sampling phase through to commercial orders and repeat business.
• Represent ETTLIN at client meetings, pertinent industry trade shows, and market events.
• Keep abreast of developments in the U.S. insect screen and fenestration markets, including competitor activities, channel structures, customer demands, and emerging applications.
• Report directly to the COO.
• Collaborate closely with ETTLIN's product specialists and management team in Germany.
• Relevant B2B sales or business development experience in insect screening, screen systems, fenestration, window and door products, shading/sun protection, or a closely related market.
• Knowledge of the U.S. fenestration and screening industry and its distribution channels.
• Established relationships with system providers, fabricators, distributors, installation organizations, manufacturers, dealers, or other pertinent industry contacts are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to attract new customers and expand business rather than solely managing an existing account base.
• Excellent relationship-building capabilities and the ability to engage credibly with business owners, commercial leaders, purchasing teams, and other customer stakeholders.
• A self-motivated and entrepreneurial work style, combined with the capability to collaborate effectively with an international team.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to articulate the value of a differentiated technical product.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems; experience with HubSpot is an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the United States.
• Proficiency in the German language is a plus, but not mandatory.
