This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Drive mortgage volume within the alternative lending sector.
• Educate broker partners about Haventree’s diverse product offerings, guidelines, and procedures.
• Identify both new and existing marketplace opportunities, transforming them into reliable partnerships.
• Attend and engage in industry events to enhance brand visibility.
• Recognize industry trends and customer motivations.
• Keep an eye on competitors and maintain an informed perspective on the industry landscape.
• Create innovative sales strategies, marketing concepts, and product applications.
• Manage monthly expenses to stay within budget.
• Record daily activities in the designated CRM system.
• Assess monthly, weekly, and quarterly sales reports for accuracy and effective sales planning.
• Report on business metrics for the assigned territory monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Act as Haventree Bank’s representative to external partners, conveying the company’s vision.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in residential mortgage lending or within the mortgage broker network.
• Skills in business development and prospecting, including the ability to build and utilize valuable centers of influence within the sales territory.
• Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to present effectively, both virtually and in person, to small and large audiences.
• Adaptability to a continually evolving environment.
• Proficiency in negotiating and conveying both positive and challenging messages to broker partners.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage resources effectively.
• Knowledge of the residential mortgage market, broker networks, and emerging industry trends.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on enhancing both personal and organizational outcomes.
• Ability to work autonomously and foster internal relationships remotely within a team.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and communication.
• Proficient in collaborating with others.
