This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +3 more countries.
• Implement a strategic growth plan targeting the North region.
• Cultivate significant customer relationships while identifying new market development prospects within the datacentre industry.
• Generate specification-driven opportunities by collaborating with engineering, architecture, and product teams early in the design process.
• Present Molex power and connectivity solutions prior to the finalization of specifications.
• Formulate and execute growth initiatives with rack manufacturers, cooling solution providers, power infrastructure vendors, and datacentre OEMs.
• Recognize opportunities in power distribution, busbar systems, liquid cooling, CDU architectures, thermal management, high-density rack infrastructure, and supporting connectivity solutions.
• Align Molex offerings with customer roadmaps that support AI, HPC, and next-generation datacentre deployments.
• Develop relationships with technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders throughout the datacentre infrastructure value chain.
• Identify emerging trends in rack power density, liquid cooling integration, AI infrastructure, and datacentre architecture to inform future growth strategies.
• Generate new opportunities and achieve measurable growth.
• Several years of experience in business development, technical sales, or account management within the datacentre critical power, cooling, or infrastructure markets.
• Understanding of how connectivity solutions such as cable assemblies, connectors, fibre optics, busbars, and high-speed interconnects facilitate modern power, cooling, and rack architectures.
• Strong technical knowledge of datacentre power architectures, liquid cooling technologies, and rack-level infrastructure.
• Demonstrated success in securing specification wins and influencing technical decision-makers in intricate sales settings.
• Established networks within OEMs, cooling providers, power equipment suppliers, rack manufacturers, or related datacentre infrastructure sectors.
• Capability to identify, qualify, and convert complex multi-stakeholder opportunities into sustainable long-term growth.
• Proficient in engaging engineers, architects, product managers, and executive stakeholders while translating technical requirements into business value.
• Proven background in creating and securing design-in opportunities.
• Experience with connectors, cable assemblies, fibre optics, high-speed copper, and power interconnect solutions.
• Strong comprehension of decision-making processes within rack, cooling, and power infrastructure platforms.
• Ability to influence technical specifications before the formal procurement process begins.
• Strong commercial insight, technical curiosity, and learning agility.
