This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Achieve sales targets, pipeline metrics, and other essential performance indicators
• Oversee sales pipeline data within the CRM system and deliver precise forecasts
• Implement Value Selling and Funnel Management best practices
• Discover and cultivate new business opportunities to increase market share
• Introduce new products and services while expanding business within existing accounts
• Utilize the Aldevron portfolio and Danaher connections to deepen account penetration
• Identify and connect with Key Opinion Leaders to foster growth
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing via consultative selling
• Negotiate and finalize complex, high-value opportunities
• Lead internal and external cross-functional teams to customize client solutions
• Coach and mentor team members on funnel management, prospecting, value selling, and CRM practices
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and executive leadership
• Serve as a trusted advisor, aligning Aldevron’s value proposition with client requirements
• Lead, facilitate, and engage in workshops utilizing Danaher Business System tools
• Share best practices and mentor peers to enhance team culture and organizational performance
• Report directly to the Director of Sales, EMEA
• Over 7 years of experience in a client-facing sales role within the life sciences sector
• Preferred background in the biopharma industry, specifically in selling to cell and gene therapy client segments
• Demonstrated history of being a top performer
• Proven track record of managing high-value deals from start to finish ($1M+)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline
• Extensive technical knowledge of molecular and cell biology
• Capacity to explain intricate biotherapeutic workflows, including nucleic acids, gene editing, DNA plasmids, mRNA therapeutics, viral vector technologies, and ex-vivo cell therapy
• Successful experience in sales roles with CDMO/CMO organizations supporting Cell and Gene Therapies, or equivalent experience
• Proven leadership ability to align cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• MS or PhD in a scientific field is an advantage
• Quantitative evidence of consistent territory growth is a plus
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
