This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Expand the business and enhance ChemTreat’s market presence within a specific geography or industry.
• Spearhead the development, enhancement, and execution of innovative sales strategies.
• Secure new customers through identification, prioritization, strategic analysis, and the formulation and execution of sales plans.
• Utilize technical expertise in water treatment, encompassing boilers, cooling towers, reverse osmosis systems, clarifiers, raw water, and wastewater management.
• Collaborate closely with Technical Staff and Account Managers to devise growth strategies.
• Examine markets, trends, competition, portfolios, technologies, and revenue streams.
• Boost sales and profits by achieving assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
• Engage in prospecting and cold calling to attract new customers.
• Develop and deliver compelling proposals to potential customers.
• Articulate the ChemTreat value proposition to prospective clients.
• Facilitate the transition of new business to the account management team when appropriate.
• Entertain prospective customers.
• Collaborate with all levels of the customer organization and work alongside ChemTreat field and leadership teams.
• Knowledge of chemical water treatment systems and their applications.
• Proven ability to identify challenges and devise practical solutions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or equivalent software skills.
• Industry-specific knowledge related to water treatment.
• Bachelor of Science degree; a degree in engineering or a technical field is preferred.
• Over 10 years of successful experience in water treatment.
• Travel requirements will vary based on the size of the assigned territory.
• May necessitate long hours and diverse work schedules.
• Capability to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to handle hazardous chemicals safely.
• Physical capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 60 pounds, and sometimes maneuver drums weighing between 250-800 pounds.
• Must be able to drive both short and long distances in compliance with DOT regulations.
