This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership and manage a designated sales territory within the performance and health sectors.
• Proactively build a sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities generated from marketing efforts.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual demonstrations of products while overseeing client trials.
• Collaborate with Contracts and Client Success teams to navigate full-cycle sales opportunities.
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets based on the number of systems sold.
• Effectively manage pipeline activities using CRM tools.
• Represent VALD in a professional manner at conferences, events, and industry meetings.
• Attend conferences and deliver product demonstrations within clinical, performance, and tactical environments.
• Organize and manage product trials.
• Cultivate new leads and discover additional opportunities.
• Utilize industry knowledge and product expertise to showcase the benefits of VALD systems to clients.
• Candidates must reside within a 90-minute commute of the metropolitan area associated with this position.
• Must be available for travel within a 3–4-hour radius of their residence.
• Applicants located outside the territory should be prepared to relocate within 30 days of receiving an offer or starting date.
• A background in allied health or performance-related fields (PT, ATC, S&C, Exercise Science, or similar) is required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply; however, preferred candidates will have 2 or more years of relevant field experience.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary across in-person, virtual, and written formats.
• Must be comfortable with cold prospecting methods (including drop-ins, calls, and emails).
• Ability to confidently engage with professionals at various levels, from students to executives.
• Experience with CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot) and Microsoft 365 tools is required.
• Prior field sales experience will be considered only if it aligns with a clinical background and involves subscription-based sales models.
• Approximately 50% travel is expected, primarily within the regional area.
• A reliable personal vehicle is mandatory.
• Capability to transport and demonstrate VALD equipment; the ability to carry demo equipment weighing up to approximately 75 lbs is essential.
• Standard working hours apply, with occasional evenings or weekends necessary for conferences, events, or lead follow-up.
• Successful candidates must pass satisfactory background checks, including identity and criminal record checks.
• Commission and performance-based bonus structure.
• Home office setup or co-working allowance provided.
