This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
β’ Act as the main business development leader for the Life Sciences engineered solutions sector on a national level.
β’ Discover new clients and create strategic action plans to expand new Life Sciences accounts.
β’ Identify customer requirements and assess current market opportunities.
β’ Assemble and manage acquisition teams as necessary for client engagements and projects.
β’ Transform leads into opportunities by assigning the suitable sales process and necessary sales team members.
β’ Communicate subsequent steps and delegate tasks throughout the sales process.
β’ Establish strategic partnerships with key decision-makers within customer organizations.
β’ Cultivate long-term relationships with general contractors, architects, and engineering firms' indirect accounts.
β’ Travel 40%β60% based on business requirements.
β’ At least 4+ years of experience in business development and indirect solution sales within the Life Sciences market.
β’ Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain high-level business relationships that drive results.
β’ Direct experience and thorough understanding of the Pharmaceutical and Biopharma sectors.
β’ Direct experience and substantial knowledge in higher education and healthcare sectors as they relate to life sciences.
β’ A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
β’ A valid driver's license held for a minimum of 12 months.
β’ No significant or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, in the past 5 years.
β’ No Hit & Run incidents, license suspensions, reckless/careless driving, or multiple minor violations or preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
β’ Must be able to pass additional drug screenings for this safety-sensitive position.
