This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee a varied portfolio of early-stage, mid-phase, and later-stage companies within the designated regional customer segment.
• Guide prospects from lead generation through to qualification and categorize opportunities based on deal size.
• Utilize AI-driven tools, digital platforms, and automation to enhance outreach, improve targeting, and simplify lead qualification.
• Identify and assess potential clients and partners for clinical research services.
• Generate, evaluate, and prioritize sales leads that align with business development goals and clinical research capabilities.
• Perform account research to shape engagement strategies and customer-focused outreach.
• Reach out to potential customers to uncover new opportunities.
• Develop and execute sales and proposal creation processes.
• Gather client insights, collaborate on proposal documents, and identify as well as incorporate winning themes.
• Build and nurture relationships with both prospective and existing clients, including participation in regional conferences and road shows.
• Collaborate with Account Development Managers and regional Business Development directors on strategic initiatives.
• Keep precise records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions in Salesforce CRM.
• Assist with internal sales reporting, tracking metrics, and forecasting activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client developments to refine sales tactics.
• Work together with marketing, business development, and sales operations teams.
• Perform additional duties that support the overall sales strategy and organizational growth.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, including account development management; this experience could be in an SDR, BDR, or Inside Sales capacity.
• Background in sales, marketing, commercial operations, or business development; experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or CRO industries is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Salesforce or comparable CRM systems for managing pipeline and activities.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent data orientation with the ability to analyze information and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile, and team-oriented environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–30% for team meetings, training, or industry events.
• Ability to occasionally move within the office and between office locations.
• Capacity to maintain a stationary position for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move light to medium weights ranging from 10 to 35 pounds.
• Proficient in operating a computer and office productivity equipment consistently.
• Ability to perceive and assess written materials for extended periods.
• Frequent communication with colleagues via phone, email, and in person is required.
