This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.
• Strategize and prioritize individual sales activities along with customer and prospective customer engagement to achieve business objectives, including cost management and sales growth.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with both existing and new customers to maximize service quality, business development, and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize tools and systems for customer and prospective customer interactions, ensuring relevant information is consistently updated.
• Organize and execute local marketing initiatives within set budgets and timelines, integrating personal sales efforts with coordinated marketing strategies.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the sales process, encompassing services, financial proposals, contract terms, negotiation techniques, trade compliance, and after-sales services.
• Acknowledge sales inquiries and follow up using suitable methods.
• Work in tandem with business development and accounts teams to showcase services to targeted clients.
• Observe and report on market trends and competitor activities.
• Communicate, negotiate, and liaise internally and externally to foster profitable business and sustainable partnerships.
• Attend and present at external customer meetings as well as internal cross-functional gatherings.
• Evaluate pipeline activities and prepare outreach efforts for both prospective and current clients.
• Analyze customer requirements and offer customized solutions during on-site meetings.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and marketing departments to ensure offerings align with client expectations.
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline that aligns with the company's products and services is preferred.
• A minimum of five years' experience in product sales, technical account management, or a similar role is essential.
• Ideally, experience within utilities, manufacturing, or infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with end-users, comprehend technical and operational requirements, and facilitate successful deal closures.
• Capacity to respond appropriately to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Proficient in researching target companies electronically and through inquiries directed at employees and industry partners.
• Understanding of supply chain challenges faced by target companies.
• Candidates may reside in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, or Utah.
• Willingness and capacity to travel 70–80% within the Western Region.
