This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead sales initiatives within the assigned Texas territory by executing sales and marketing strategies for PackGene’s offerings.
• Collaborate with technical support, project management, and production teams to meet territory sales objectives.
• Develop new business opportunities across industrial, academic, and government sectors, while broadening the customer base.
• Conduct direct customer interactions and oversee project management.
• Handle administrative tasks, manage sales pipelines, and facilitate opportunity closures.
• Comprehend customers’ research applications and challenges, aligning PackGene’s products and services to address their needs.
• Provide market insights to Technical Support and Marketing through weekly feedback reports from the field.
• Participate in customer visits, conferences, and vendor exhibitions, fostering customer relationships and meeting sales quotas.
• Propel business growth with the technical support and project management teams.
• Establish and grow a business reference network to uncover new opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, evaluate market potential, and devise strategic plans.
• Deliver prompt customer support and coordinate internal resources effectively.
• Host webinars and innovation meetings.
• Travel frequently by airplane and automobile for business purposes.
• Master’s degree or higher in scientific fields, with a focus on life sciences.
• 1–5 years of pertinent sales experience.
• Advanced technical and professional expertise.
• Preferred knowledge of the biological sector and the CRO or CDMO market, or general biotech industry.
• Capability to manage sales pipelines and accurately predict sales on a weekly basis within the territory.
• Strong analytical abilities and effective time management skills.
• Proficient in public speaking and delivering presentations.
• Action-oriented and execution-focused; capable of independent work.
• High interpersonal skills, organizational agility, and managerial confidence.
• Ability to collaborate across different regions and functions.
• Proven success in identifying market trends and creating action plans that leverage those trends to drive sales.
• Sales-driven and results-focused, demonstrating enthusiasm, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Proficient in multitasking and resource management to optimize territory performance.
• Willingness to travel extensively (40%+).
• Effective oral communication with customers, management, and colleagues, both individually and in groups.
• Regularly utilize telephone and email for communication.
• Good manual dexterity for operating common office equipment.
• Normal visual and hearing abilities, with or without corrective measures.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Full-time exempt position.
