This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.
• Create, execute, and maintain marketing and sales strategies aligned with the company's and individual goals and objectives.
• Ensure the satisfaction of current referral sources while identifying their future fleet management requirements.
• Develop marketing programs and strategies aimed at attracting potential referral sources and target clients.
• Identify and cultivate market areas to achieve marketing and sales objectives.
• Recognize and develop new prospects, successfully closing new business opportunities.
• Provide business-to-business fleet management solutions, including fleet leasing and service programs, technology options, and fleet consulting.
• Assist commercial customers in purchasing fleet software and services.
• Research and pinpoint potential clients in need of fleet vehicles.
• Create and implement lead-generation strategies via cold calling, industry events, professional networks, and digital marketing.
• Build and sustain existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
• Prepare and present sales proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements.
• Conduct market research and track industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and operations teams.
• Sell vehicle leasing, maintenance, fuel license programs, outsourcing, and other support services.
• Discuss fleet cycle and replacement strategies with prospective clients.
• Schedule meetings with C-suite executives and deliver professional presentations to secure agreements to choose Mike Albert.
• Obtain long-term client commitments that foster sustainable growth.
• Coordinate with Client Partnership Managers and the Transition Team during client onboarding.
• Provide organizations with marketplace overviews and competitive intelligence.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of sales experience.
• Must reside in Maryland, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, or Virginia.
• Preferred experience in the fleet leasing industry.
• Strong understanding of the automotive industry, including trends, vehicle types, features, and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with fleet management practices and solutions.
• Proven success in sales and business development, with the ability to identify leads, build relationships, and finalize deals.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication abilities.
• Solid knowledge and proficiency in executing a consultative selling process.
• Ability to manage onboarding for new fleet customers, including assistance with initial product setup and training on using Mike Albert Fleet Software, technology, and services.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of the financial aspects of equipment leasing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Active listening skills to comprehend client needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Capable of developing compelling oral and written proposals that quantify the overall impact of Mike Albert solutions.
• Results-oriented; highly innovative in delivering and positioning solutions to address clients' needs and challenges.
• Able to analyze client issues and develop effective sales and closing strategies.
• Capable of setting priorities and achieving objectives.
• Effective organizational skills to manage a pipeline of leads, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets.
• Attention to detail in managing contracts, pricing, and client information.
• Enhance job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities, professional publications, networking, and professional organizations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Client Relationship Management technology.
• Willingness to support up to 50% travel.
• Personal flexibility in scheduling travel to maintain work/life balance.
