This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create, execute, and uphold marketing and sales strategies aligned with company and individual objectives.
• Ensure the satisfaction of existing referral sources while anticipating their future fleet-management requirements.
• Design marketing programs and strategies aimed at attracting potential referral sources and clients.
• Identify and cultivate market areas to achieve marketing and sales targets.
• Discover and develop new prospects to secure new business.
• Offer business-to-business fleet management solutions, which encompass fleet leasing, service programs, technological options, and fleet consultation.
• Conduct research to identify prospective fleet-management clients.
• Formulate lead-generation strategies and convert leads into sales opportunities using cold calling, industry events, professional networks, and digital marketing.
• Build and foster client relationships to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and facilitate referrals.
• Prepare and present sales presentations, negotiating pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements.
• Carry out market research and keep track of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and operations teams.
• Market vehicle leasing, maintenance, fuel license programs, outsourcing, and other support services.
• Discuss fleet-cycle and replacement strategies with potential clients.
• Arrange meetings with C-suite executives and deliver polished presentations.
• Secure long-term commitments from clients and promote sustainable growth.
• Work in conjunction with Client Partnership Managers and the Transition Team during the client onboarding process.
• Provide organizations with overviews of the marketplace and competitive intelligence.
• Assist with the initial product setup and customer training on Mike Albert Fleet Software, technology, and services.
• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of Sales experience.
• Must reside in Southern California.
• Experience in the Fleet Leasing Industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, including trends, vehicle types, features, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with fleet management practices and solutions.
• Proven success in sales and business development.
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication abilities.
• Solid understanding and proficiency in executing the consultative selling process.
• Capability to manage the onboarding of new fleet customers, including initial product setup and training on Mike Albert Fleet Software, technology, and services.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of the financial aspects of equipment leasing.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Active listening capabilities.
• Proficient in crafting compelling oral and written proposals that quantify the overall impact of Mike Albert solutions.
• Results-oriented and highly creative in delivering and positioning solutions to address clients' needs and challenges.
• Ability to analyze client issues and challenges, developing effective sales and closing strategies.
• Proficient in establishing priorities and meeting objectives.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail when managing contracts, pricing, and client information.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and Client Relationship Management technology, with a preference for Sales Force.
• Willingness to support 50% travel.
