This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Implement business growth initiatives for Delta Commercial.
• Partner with manufacturing agencies to deploy business development strategies in targeted regions.
• Execute market entry plans to secure commercial opportunities and ensure long-term market presence.
• Utilize external networks and industry expertise to unlock and expedite growth.
• Provide strategic insights and perspectives that promote marketplace differentiation.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver solutions to complex customer requirements and enhance market engagement.
• Monitor, assess, and report on progress towards key business objectives.
• Build, sustain, and enhance relationships with leading specifiers to ensure the inclusion of Delta Commercial products in project specifications.
• Nurture relationships with mechanical contractors, owner groups, facilities managers, wholesale distributors, and other key stakeholders.
• Represent Delta Commercial at local, regional, and national trade exhibitions.
• Organize and lead local special event days targeting key segments and influencers.
• Maintain alignment and communication with the independent agency network.
• Engage in industry organizations such as MCAA, ASHE, and ASPE.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commercial sales, business development, or account management.
• Preferably experienced in institutional, healthcare, or heavy commercial building sectors.
• Strong grasp of complex commercial sales cycles and specification management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to analyze market data, identify trends, and formulate value-capture strategies.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Smartsheet.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and build productive relationships.
• High level of initiative, ownership, and accountability.
• Capacity to work independently while remaining aligned with broader team objectives.
• Willingness and capability to travel regularly within North America, primarily the United States.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial segments and market entry strategies.
• Ability to convey value to specifiers, mechanical contractors, and distributors.
• Skill in translating technical or complex solutions into clear business value.
• Experience in establishing relationships with industry influencers, associations, and decision-makers.
• Competence to influence without authority and drive initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Adaptability to changing market demands and uncertainty.
• Ability to leverage data and industry insights for informed decision-making.
• Experience with pipeline management, strategic planning, and achieving measurable results.
