This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Implement business growth strategies for Delta Commercial.
• Partner with agency collaborators to carry out business development initiatives in key regions.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to capture commercial opportunities and ensure long-term market sustainability.
• Utilize external networks and industry expertise to enhance growth.
• Offer strategic insights and perspectives that promote differentiation in the marketplace.
• Collaborate across various functions to provide solutions for complex customer requirements.
• Monitor, assess, and communicate progress towards essential business objectives.
• Establish, nurture, and grow relationships with leading specifiers to ensure Delta Commercial products are included in project specifications.
• Build relationships with mechanical contractors, owner groups, facilities managers, wholesale distributors, and other key stakeholders.
• Represent Delta Commercial at local, regional, and national trade shows.
• Organize and lead regional special event days targeting key segments and influencers.
• Maintain consistent communication and alignment with the independent agency network.
• Engage in industry organizations such as MCAA, ASHE, and ASPE.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in commercial sales, business development, or account management.
• Ideal experience in institutional, healthcare, or heavy commercial building sectors.
• Strong comprehension of complex commercial sales cycles and specification management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market data, discern trends, and craft value-capture strategies.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Smartsheet.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
• Capability to work collaboratively across functions and foster productive relationships.
• High level of initiative, ownership, and accountability.
• Comfortable working independently while remaining aligned with broader team objectives.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within North America, primarily in the United States.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial segments and go-to-market strategies.
• Ability to convert technical or complex solutions into straightforward business value.
• Proficient in strategic relationship management with industry influencers and decision-makers.
