This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Implement business expansion strategies for Delta Commercial
• Partner with agency collaborators to carry out business development initiatives in key markets
• Deploy go-to-market strategies to secure commercial prospects and foster long-term market sustainability
• Utilize external networks and industry expertise to boost growth
• Offer strategic insights and viewpoints that enhance marketplace differentiation
• Collaborate across functions to provide solutions for intricate customer requirements
• Monitor, assess, and report progress towards essential business objectives
• Build, sustain, and enhance relationships with leading specifiers to ensure Delta Commercial product inclusion in project specifications
• Develop relationships with mechanical contractors, owner groups, facility managers, wholesale distributors, and other key stakeholders
• Represent Delta Commercial at local, regional, and national trade exhibitions
• Organize and lead local special event days aimed at key segments and influencers
• Ensure ongoing communication and alignment with the independent agency network
• Engage in industry organizations such as MCAA, ASHE, and ASPE
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in commercial sales, business development, or account management
• Ideally experienced in institutional, healthcare, or heavy commercial building sectors
• Strong knowledge of complex commercial sales processes and specification management
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Capability to present confidently to internal teams, agency collaborators, industry influencers, and clients
• Proficient in interpreting market data, recognizing trends, and formulating value-capture strategies
• Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Smartsheet
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
• Proven ability in cross-functional collaboration and relationship building
• High level of initiative, ownership, and accountability
• Comfortable operating independently while aligned with broader team objectives
• Willingness and capacity to travel frequently throughout North America, primarily the United States
• In-depth understanding of commercial segments and go-to-market approaches
• Ability to convert technical or complex solutions into clear business value
• Proficient in establishing relationships with industry influencers, associations, and decision-makers
• Capable of influencing without authority and driving projects with stakeholders
• Adaptable to evolving market demands and uncertainties
• Skilled at using data and industry insights for informed decision-making
