This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel profitable growth for Kinder’s within Albertsons Companies’ national organization, divisions, and regional brands.
• Oversee daily customer interactions with Albertsons stakeholders.
• Formulate and implement annual customer strategies and Joint Business Plans.
• Convert national strategies into actionable plans at the division and banner levels.
• Provide actionable insights related to categories, shoppers, and consumers.
• Spot opportunities to broaden distribution, enhance assortment, boost household penetration, and accelerate profitable sales growth.
• Direct item authorization and assortment optimization processes, which include new item presentations and innovation selling.
• Create omnichannel growth strategies for Albertsons’ websites, apps, pickup and delivery platforms, including U, FreshPass, and other shopper engagement initiatives.
• Lead base and promotional forecasting, event planning, and ensure forecast alignment.
• Oversee trade investments, promotional funding, shopper marketing, digital media, and customer-specific investments.
• Assist in evaluating and supporting annual planning and promotional negotiations.
• Collaborate with replenishment and supply chain teams to uphold service levels and tackle inventory or execution risks.
• Prepare and present line reviews, category reviews, customer business reviews, and customer-facing presentations.
• Ensure the execution of planograms, displays, secondary placements, seasonal programs, cross-merchandising, and off-shelf initiatives.
• Set priorities and performance expectations for broker partners and monitor their execution.
• Monitor and communicate customer, category, and financial performance metrics.
• Work collaboratively with Sales Strategy, Category Management, Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Sales Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Trade Finance, and Operations teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives, maintain accountability for milestones, and deliver quantifiable results.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in CPG sales, customer management, or related commercial roles.
• Direct experience with Albertsons / Safeway is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Albertsons’ national and division-level operating model.
• Proficiency in using the Albertsons Partner Portal, item authorization, promotional planning, merchandising, and retail execution.
• Familiarity with Albertsons’ digital commerce, loyalty, personalization, and retail media capabilities, including U and Albertsons Media Collective.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, with experience in trade investment, forecasting, promotional planning, and performance analysis.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience in working with and managing broker partners across various regions.
• Proven capability to lead cross-functional efforts and achieve results without formal authority.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
