This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire new business opportunities and enhance existing accounts across Jabil facilities.
• Analyze customer documentation, including business plans, manufacturing agreements, contracts, purchase-order terms, letters of authorization, and letters of intent.
• Offer guidance during contract negotiations.
• Track customer satisfaction levels, service awards, and achievements within work cells.
• Evaluate, guide, and provide advice on plant loading and capacity issues.
• Contribute insights regarding manufacturing requirements.
• Assist in identifying suitable customers and industries for Jabil.
• Establish connections with customers at the appropriate levels.
• Support business development initiatives, including quotes and customer meetings.
• Oversee customer and product transitions as well as site expansions.
• Build and sustain expertise in a designated industry sector.
• Create factory-specific strategies in collaboration with business unit directors, sales, and operations.
• Evaluate the necessity for design, NPI, SI, and DF capabilities.
• Develop and advocate for current and future business goals within the organization.
• Lead and engage in quarterly assessments at each site.
• Assist the sales efforts of business unit directors, managers, corporate staff, and the sales organization.
• Keep corporate management updated on evolving market conditions in the region.
• Deliver innovative global solutions to meet customer needs.
• Promote feedback on competitive information related to submitted customer quotes.
• Aid in the integration of mergers and acquisitions into standard operations.
• Prioritize customer service and address issues promptly and effectively.
• Share knowledge and best practices across Jabil facilities.
• Adhere to safety, health, and company security protocols.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year university or a Technical Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• A combination of education, experience, and/or training may be considered.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate information from scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Capability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and the business community.
• Proficient in presenting information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
• Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil software packages.
• Ability to customize advanced quality tools training for all organizational tiers.
• Multilingual skills are advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and the industry.
• Expertise in determining logistics requirements and implementing strategies to meet targets.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including business analytics and optimization of company footprint.
• Comprehensive understanding of international direct and indirect taxes and global customs regulations.
• Proven success in change management, continuous productivity improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and email.
