This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee designated accounts while formulating and implementing a strategic growth plan across the designated territory.
• Create and sustain a pipeline of targeted accounts, emphasizing the transformation of opportunities into consistent revenue growth.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with enterprise end users, contractors, consultants, distributors, and system integrators.
• Identify, assess, and pursue new business prospects within the enterprise structured cabling, connectivity, and network infrastructure sectors.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, which includes prospecting, delivering presentations, creating proposals, negotiating, and executing contracts.
• Establish and nurture trusted connections with key decision-makers across technical, procurement, and executive leadership teams.
• Act as a reliable advisor by offering insights into enterprise infrastructure trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and supply chain teams to provide customer-centric solutions.
• Utilize market intelligence and customer insights to shape commercial strategy and identify growth opportunities.
• Represent Molex at client meetings, industry gatherings, and trade organizations.
• Conduct regular business reviews and account planning initiatives to promote customer success and long-term growth.
• Proven experience in selling copper and fiber structured cabling, connectivity, network infrastructure, data center infrastructure, or similar enterprise technology solutions.
• Track record of success in expanding strategic accounts and forging new customer relationships.
• Established ability to develop relationships and generate business with enterprise customers, contractors, consultants, distributors, and system integrators.
• Experience in managing sales pipelines, territory strategies, and account growth plans.
• Capability to articulate technical and commercial value propositions to diverse audiences.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
• Existing relationships and active participation within the enterprise structured cabling, connectivity, or data center sector.
• Proven success in converting industry connections into new business opportunities.
• Background in working for a manufacturer or distributor catering to the enterprise connectivity market.
• Enterprise sales experience related to data center, structured cabling, connectivity, or network infrastructure solutions.
• Experience in influencing specifications through consultants, engineers, or design firms.
• Background in selling to large enterprise organizations, colocation providers, or data center operators.
• Demonstrated history of surpassing territory growth objectives.
• Strong comprehension of channel, distribution, and partner sales models.
• Established network of customers, consultants, contractors, and industry influencers.
• RCDD certification is a preferred qualification.
• Successful completion of a drug test may be required.
• Must meet applicable work authorization requirements; employer utilizes E-Verify.
