This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and take charge of all Public Safety customer Business Development efforts within the US.
• Manage B2B sales channel accounts responsible for the resale of OEM products to Public Safety clients, including aftersales support.
• Oversee a B2G sales channel responsible for the direct sale of OEM products to Public Safety customers.
• Manage a sales pipeline through a CRM system, ensuring accuracy and monitoring relevant metrics.
• Organize and facilitate product demonstrations and training sessions for Public Safety clients.
• Work in collaboration with Marketing to plan and execute trade marketing events for Public Safety.
• Partner with the Program Management Office to identify, analyze, and assist in responses to B2G RFIs and RFPs.
• Collaborate with the Program Management Office to identify, analyze, and incorporate third-party payloads to foster government market growth and enhance Public Safety capabilities.
• Team up with the Director of US Business Development to refine sales operations processes and systems.
• Develop strategic business planning deliverables aimed at supporting growth in the US sales territory.
• Report directly to the Director of US Business Development.
• Expect to travel domestically about 60% of the time.
• Previous Military or Public Safety experience/service is preferred.
• Familiarity with US Government procurement processes and acquisition protocols.
• Strong time management capabilities.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage and leverage essential relationships with sales partners and customers.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Government, Military, or Public Safety business development/sales.
• BS/BA in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field; a technical degree or comparable sales experience is acceptable.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to pass a General Employment Background Check.
• Must be willing to travel domestically (e.g., for tradeshows, key account visits, and customer engagements).
• Ability to acquire additional security clearances based on customer and territory specifications.
• Available for travel on short notice; open to trips lasting from a few days to over a week.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Able to travel and navigate via automobile, train, airplane, etc.
• Willing to spend extended periods sitting at a desk and using a computer.
