This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +2 more states.
• Establish new connections with targeted clients across diverse markets.
• Manage and nurture customer relationships, comprehend client needs, and pinpoint potential new customers.
• Implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve volume and value expansion.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to devise plans utilizing market intelligence, research, and mapping.
• Spearhead negotiations, execute pricing adjustments, and create long-term contract arrangements.
• Oversee sales contracts in compliance with Dow's guidelines and legal stipulations.
• Define commercial strategy and business/sales plans in conjunction with sales, marketing, and product leadership.
• Foster cross-business selling initiatives.
• Align Dow's asset strategy and capabilities with the needs of prospects and clients.
• Coordinate Dow functions that affect customers to successfully implement customer plans.
• Provide insights on competitors, including their capabilities, strategies, positioning, cost structures, technology, financial returns, customer mix, and supply chains.
• Grasp current and emerging client needs and identify lucrative market opportunities.
• Advocate for Dow LSR solutions and influence specification decisions to drive profitable growth and innovation.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience at or above a U.S. E5, Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class, or Sergeant level.
• At least 5 years of pertinent work experience.
• Must be prepared and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship or support is not available, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency process.
• Preferred: Experience in the sales or promotion of LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) solutions.
• Preferred: Over 7 years of experience in technical, sales, or commercial roles.
• Preferred: Practical experience utilizing various sales techniques, including cold calling.
• Preferred: Background knowledge in silicone sales and market insights.
• Proficient use of CRM, DSR, CMT, and Smart Price systems.
