This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the proposal development process for tenders and funding opportunities, from strategic evaluation to submission—analyzing fit, risks, and partnership potential before making participation decisions.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with key national and international partners, including multilateral organizations, establishing WayCarbon as a premier sustainability collaborator.
• Convert complex Terms of Reference (ToRs) into comprehensive and unique technical proposals, coordinating internal technical teams to ensure alignment with evaluation standards.
• Collaborate with technical teams to create competitive financial proposals that effectively balance scope, effort, and strategic pricing.
• Manage consortia and partnerships, both internal and external, throughout the proposal development process, ensuring message consistency, technical quality, and timely submissions.
• Guarantee complete compliance with tender requirements—including documentation, eligibility, and formatting—minimizing disqualification risks.
• Serve as a key reviewer of technical and commercial content, improving proposal clarity, competitive differentiation, and persuasive impact.
• Analyze evaluation criteria and collaboratively define the winning strategy for each proposal, both technical and commercial, alongside leadership.
• Organize and maintain the team’s strategic knowledge base—including credentials, résumés, case studies, and evidence—serving as a competitive advantage for new opportunities.
• Conduct win/loss analyses and transform insights into actionable process enhancements.
• Actively participate in the development of processes, templates, and governance, enhancing the maturity and scalability of the partnerships and proposals function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Relations, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and coordinating technical and commercial proposals within the ESG or climate sectors.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation abilities, with a talent for establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with a variety of stakeholders—including technical partners, internal teams, clients, and international organizations.
• Experience in interpreting tenders and Terms of Reference (ToRs) and translating requirements into structured proposals.
• Background in consulting, sustainability, or related fields is preferred.
