This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Strategize territory coverage and implement a comprehensive contact approach.
• Cultivate robust business relationships with clients to meet annual sales targets and personal performance goals.
• Execute prioritized objectives and enact commercial strategies in collaboration with clients.
• Serve as CooperVision’s primary contact for all customers within the designated territory.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the territory, assigned customers, and CooperVision’s products and services.
• Introduce and promote new products to customers.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of CooperVision’s products, clinical and technical details, product strategies, market positioning, and brand messaging.
• Facilitate training programs for retail personnel.
• Organize and administer clinical training in partnership with the Professional Services team.
• Establish connections with Regional Managers and account representatives.
• Represent the company at seminars, trade shows, and meetings.
• Conduct visits to customers and colleagues throughout the geographical territory, including phone calls and virtual meetings.
• Sales professional with prior experience in a sales-oriented environment.
• Proven history of defining and achieving sales outcomes.
• Ability to positively influence prospective and existing clients and others using a coaching approach.
• Demonstrated success in meeting targets in organizations that require strong interpersonal skills for influencing management at all levels.
• Excellent relationship-building, listening, and coaching abilities.
• Proficient in investigative questioning and knowledgeable about the sales process.
• Highly motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively to achieve set objectives.
• Competent in managing a vast geographical sales area.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
• Experience in the optical industry is preferred.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong preference for residing within the designated territory.
• Willingness to undertake extensive travel within the territory, occasional UK and international travel, overnight stays, evening/weekend exhibitions, and seminars, as well as potential weekend work.
