This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.
• Strategically enhance the growth and profitability of the Advanced Resins product category.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Commercial and Technical Teams, Operations, Procurement, and Suppliers.
• Create and implement an annual business development plan.
• Formulate market plans and strategies that support Product Marketing.
• Suggest pricing strategies to improve profitability and boost market share.
• Research and keep track of trends and competitive activities in the product category.
• Develop and strengthen essential relationships with Customers and Suppliers.
• Identify and leverage supplier products, strategies, and technical capabilities.
• Act as the primary technical and commercial resource for Advanced Resins.
• Coordinate strategic interactions with Customers and Suppliers alongside Sales Managers.
• Visit key Customers to offer technical support and gain insights into their needs.
• Provide field personnel with technical product and processing information.
• Develop and conduct technical training, seminars, and supporting materials.
• Participate in industry trade shows and associations.
• Assess product line overlap and assist with product category rationalization.
• Identify opportunities for moving aged inventory.
• Utilize product purchases to find COGS reduction opportunities and optimize logistics.
• Convert market data into actionable insights for both internal and external stakeholders.
• At least 10 years of experience in a technical, business development, B2B marketing, Composites Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related role with a focus on Advanced Resins.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Composites or Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Technical proficiency in Advanced Resins, including pDCPD, Epoxy, Curatives, Urethanes, and related technologies.
• Capability to deliver effective technical training.
• Proven track record in developing and executing business development strategies that align with customer needs and stimulate growth.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with customers, suppliers, OEMs, and cross-functional internal teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficient in analyzing market and business data and transforming findings into actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Willingness to learn internal systems such as Incorta and SAP.
• Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is required.
• Candidates must reside near one of the locations specified in the job posting.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%, including local, national, and international travel.
