This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, assess, and pursue key project opportunities in critical infrastructure and smart technology.
• Interact directly with clients, decision-makers, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with leadership to formulate go-to-market strategies for specific verticals and regions.
• Represent Ceqel Critical Commissioning at industry events, technology expos, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Build, develop, and oversee the estimating team and processes.
• Direct take-offs, scope development, risk assessments, and value engineering efforts.
• Coordinate pricing strategies with vendors, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams.
• Create and maintain cost models, historical pricing databases, and performance benchmarks for smart technologies.
• Manage the creation of compliant, high-quality proposals.
• Lead proposal kick-offs, storyboarding, and content development sessions.
• Ensure proposals fulfill client specifications, contract requirements, and corporate brand standards.
• Monitor proposal metrics and success rates to enhance win rates.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and engineering teams during the transition from contract award to execution.
• Provide preconstruction support, including scope clarification, technology integration strategies, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Maintain alignment between estimating, delivery, and client expectations throughout the pre-award process.
• Complete assigned tasks and deliverables punctually and within budget.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrated success in securing contracts within data centers, utilities, industrial facilities, or large commercial environments.
• Strong understanding of automation systems, IoT platforms, electrical power systems, mechanical systems, and critical infrastructure delivery.
• Proficient in estimating methodologies, cost analysis, and best practices for proposals.
• Skilled in using estimating software, CRM systems, and the MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for presentations to executives, technical teams, and client stakeholders.
• Strategic client engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
• Proficient in estimating for critical infrastructure and smart technology projects.
• Competence in competitive proposal development and management.
• Skills in market research and executing growth strategies.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and preconstruction leadership.
• Negotiation and contract support capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; equivalent technical/military experience is acceptable.
• Over 8 years of experience in business development, estimating, or preconstruction for critical infrastructure or advanced building technology projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including to any or all 50 U.S. states.
• Ability to rent vehicles and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Valid REAL ID or an acceptable alternative, such as a passport, for covered domestic air travel effective May 7, 2025.
