This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Generate new sales opportunities from potential clients with annual revenues exceeding $300M in both primary and secondary markets.
• Collaborate with sales leaders across different sales and account management divisions to implement multi-market payment solutions.
• Spearhead strategic selling initiatives in accordance with compliance and internal partner business requirements.
• Formulate and execute a growth strategy, adjusting plans and priorities to meet resource and operational needs.
• Meet Sales Charge Volume (CV) targets.
• Implement a strategic sales cycle.
• Promote core and supplier payment solutions from American Express.
• Identify opportunities, oversee setup and card issuance, and manage signings to achieve Booked Charge Volume.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Advanced analytical abilities to transform concepts into actionable insights through data.
• Established experience in Fintech and/or B2B sales negotiations, with strong leadership and closing capabilities in dealings with Fortune 1000 firms.
• A hunter mentality.
• In-depth understanding of the complexities, subtleties, and opportunities within the payments industry across various global markets.
• Comprehensive knowledge of successful consultative selling techniques related to supply payments within Procurement, Treasury, and Finance.
• Extensive experience in complex sales planning and execution.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Ability to leverage lead sources to uncover opportunities and proactively arrange warm account review meetings with prospects.
• Proficient in utilizing appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to secure acceptance for products and/or services.
• Exceptional thought leadership, strategic thinking capabilities, and project management skills.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact with and influence senior-level stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration and leadership abilities.
• Eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is mandatory; the company will not seek visa sponsorship.
