This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Oversee and enhance Actylis’ range of excipients, APIs, and intermediates with both new and existing clients.
• Develop and progress pipeline projects within the designated territory.
• Manage account portfolios while fostering new business prospects.
• Collaborate with teams in R&D, business development, purchasing, and operations.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships.
• Identify and qualify emergent sales opportunities.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers and document interactions within the CRM system.
• Convert customer requirements into actionable business strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external partners.
• Engage in RFQ processes and deliver product quotations and pricing strategies.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts while ensuring profitability.
• Address customer issues and complaints in collaboration with Customer Service, Logistics, and Quality teams.
• Submit and uphold annual sales budgets for each account and territory.
• Manage opportunity pipelines and sales forecasts in the CRM system.
• Provide monthly sales reports that track sales and gross profit against budget targets.
• Develop and implement annual territory plans and contribute to Key Account Plans.
• Identify market expansion opportunities through participation in the industry.
• Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and local pharmaceutical organizations.
• Participate in site projects and additional tasks related to skills and capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific fields.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in sales/business development of APIs, excipients, and intermediates for pharmaceutical manufacturers.
• Comfortable with the technical and scientific aspects of pharmaceutical and API development.
• Knowledgeable in pharmaceutical Quality and Regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated success in delivering client solutions and achieving sales objectives.
• Strong comprehension of the pharmaceutical industry, including its challenges, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to follow through on client contracts.
• In-depth understanding of the value chain and key participants within the related market space.
• Goal-oriented, organized team player.
• Self-motivated and self-directed, with a strong desire to expand the company through new sales.
• Capable of analyzing data and sales statistics to translate results into effective solutions.
• Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Outstanding communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in standard office meeting and communication software, including Teams and SharePoint.
• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently; possesses project management skills.
• Valid passport is required.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory, with occasional global travel; approximately 50% travel required.
