This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Drive sustainable revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding partnerships with existing customers.
β’ Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within designated accounts and market sectors.
β’ Manage and expand a portfolio of existing client relationships.
β’ Recognize cross-selling opportunities across new service lines and various teams, studios, and decision-makers.
β’ Create and implement strategic account plans aimed at fostering long-term, multi-service partnerships.
β’ Monitor industry activities, production trends, emerging technologies, and evolving client requirements.
β’ Enhance Side's visibility within the assigned North American territory through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and market research.
β’ Position Side as a strategic, comprehensive partner throughout the game development lifecycle.
β’ Lead client discovery discussions to understand business goals, production requirements, timelines, and commercial needs.
β’ Collaborate with service-line and delivery teams to formulate solutions, proposals, pricing, and scopes of work.
β’ Work together with delivery teams, service-line specialists, and commercial colleagues on integrated solutions.
β’ Serve as the commercial point of contact for designated accounts.
β’ Relay client feedback, market insights, and emerging opportunities internally.
β’ Take ownership of revenue and business development targets.
β’ Build and sustain a qualified opportunity pipeline, manage forecasts, and maintain precise CRM records.
β’ Review account strategies, pipeline development, and commercial performance with leadership.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or operations within the gaming or entertainment sector.
β’ Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and closing deals in creative or technical service settings.
β’ Strong knowledge of video game development and production processes, with familiarity across game development, art, audio, QA, localization, LQA, and Player Support.
β’ Ability to identify and cultivate opportunities across multiple service lines, positioning Side as an integrated, full-service partner.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
β’ Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office or Google Workspace.
β’ Self-motivated, organized, and adept at managing complex sales cycles and client relationships from start to finish.
β’ A genuine passion for video games.
β’ Experience in Player Support is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Established network of contacts among producers, development leads, operations managers, or game developers in the Bay Area and throughout North America.
β’ Experience working with or selling to AAA, AA, or mobile game studios.
β’ Exposure to selling or delivering services across various disciplines, including art, game audio, QA, localization, game development, or co-development support.
