This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the entire capture lifecycle for key Air Force opportunities, from initial development through to proposal submission and contract awards.
• Create and implement capture strategies, encompassing win tactics, competitive evaluations, team collaboration approaches, and pricing assessments.
• Develop a pipeline across various Air Force funding sources, including SBIR Phase III, OTAs, AFWERX, BAAs, and established programs.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with stakeholders across Air Combat Command, AFLCMC program offices, AFSOC, and operational wings and groups.
• Engage with customer personas early in the acquisition process to influence requirements that align with Anura’s capabilities.
• Represent Primordial Labs at industry events, demonstrations, conferences, and client meetings.
• Keep track of the defense acquisition landscape, contracting mechanisms, Air Force funding cycles, relevant programs, competitors, and emerging customer needs.
• Identify and assess new market segments and adjacencies that align with Anura’s platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering and program management to ensure that proposals and commitments to customers are technically sound and feasible.
• Provide insights from customers and the market to inform product roadmap priorities and go-to-market strategies.
• Assist in proposal development, including writing, reviewing, and coordinating with teaming partners.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, capture management, or government sales.
• Proven history of securing defense contracts successfully.
• Direct experience with Air Force customers and navigating defense acquisition procedures.
• Demonstrated success in owning and winning opportunities throughout the complete capture lifecycle.
• Established connections within Air Force program offices, MAJCOM staffs, or combatant commands.
• Strong understanding of government acquisition pathways and contracting mechanisms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership within defense organizations.
• Capability to manage multiple active captures concurrently.
• Proficient in CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership in a fast-paced, lean environment.
• Current U.S. government security clearance is preferred; the ability to obtain and maintain clearance is required.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Familiarity with autonomous systems or human-machine teaming technologies is advantageous.
• Experience in capturing programs related to crewed aircraft, RPA, or unmanned systems is a plus.
• Understanding of Air Force command and control and mission planning workflows is desirable.
• Prior experience in a startup or early-stage defense technology company is beneficial.
