This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Implement strategic sales and business development initiatives to foster profitable growth across designated markets, product categories, and regions.
• Identify, cultivate, and monitor project opportunities; influence specifications and position MAPEI solutions early within the project lifecycle.
• Establish and nurture relationships with AEC firms, design professionals, contractors, distributors, owners, and public authorities.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives to provide presentations, product demonstrations, and consultative technical solutions.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
• Assist in product launches and market strategies in conjunction with Product Line Management and R&D.
• Offer technical support through client education, jobsite visits, applicator training, and industry presentations (AIA/PDH).
• Broaden networks of engineers, contractors, and industry influencers to enhance market penetration and product specification.
• Represent MAPEI at trade shows, industry events, and professional associations.
• Work collaboratively across departments to align strategies, share insights, and drive business outcomes.
• Comply with MAPEI policies, safety regulations, work procedures, BMS protocols, and relevant EHS requirements.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or technical sales within the construction materials sector or a related field.
• Significant experience with construction restoration systems or related product/market segments.
• Demonstrated experience working on construction projects, with specifications and key industry stakeholders.
• Preferred experience in supporting product launches, technical presentations, or specification development.
• Strong technical aptitude along with a consultative sales approach.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel as necessary to support projects, customers, and industry events.
