
Business Development Leader – Concrete Admixtures

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collaborate with the Area Sales Director to devise and execute strategies that enhance MAPEI’s market presence and foster profitable growth.
• Discover and secure new clients while strengthening relationships with regional and national accounts within the concrete admixtures sector.
• Convert customer requirements and market insights into innovative concrete admixture products and solutions alongside Product Line Managers.
• Oversee new product launches, coordinating training, inventory support, and customer engagement.
• Follow up on leads generated from trade shows, the company website, and Technical Services, ensuring project opportunities are supported until completion.
• Assist in strategic account and contractor programs, including account setup, purchase tracking, and reporting.
• Evaluate market trends, competitive pricing, and customer demands to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Convey area strategy and provide mentorship to the sales team.
• Represent MAPEI at industry associations, conferences, and customer events.
• Prepare monthly business reports and aid in sales forecasts, budgets, and tracking growth targets.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant quality, employee, health, and safety regulations.
• Carry out additional duties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree coupled with four to six years of relevant sales, marketing, or business development experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• Solid understanding of concrete admixtures or construction materials, encompassing product applications and market trends.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business, cultivate customer relationships, and meet sales objectives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and planning abilities.
• Capacity to mentor and collaborate effectively with sales teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Ability to remain standing for extended periods and work independently.
• Competent in the use of Windows-based PCs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet navigation.
