This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Expand both new and existing accounts utilizing hygienic fluid handling components and equipment.
• Increase market share among clients in a designated region of Southern California.
• Focus on processors and OEMs in hygienic sectors within the assigned area.
• Achieve consistent year-over-year growth in distributed products and service categories.
• Recognize industry trends and shifts in target markets to guide CSI's sales strategy and value proposition.
• Encourage the use of CSI eCommerce and pinpoint opportunities to enhance the online store.
• Conduct proactive outreach and promptly follow up on leads.
• Communicate effectively to promote CSI products and foster positive business relationships.
• Assume responsibility for CSI sales functions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members through professional and ethical conduct.
• Cultivate relationships between CSI personnel and customer or prospect companies.
• Identify underserved areas and supply business intelligence to the Sales Manager - West.
• Establish connections with CSI support personnel to enhance awareness and drive revenue.
• Utilize CSI personnel, capabilities, and selling systems to meet sales objectives.
• Collaborate with ISR, Project Management & Estimating, Marketing and sales support, Accounting, Purchasing, executive, OEM, and vendor personnel.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably with an emphasis in industrial technology or engineering.
• Experience in equipment sales within the food and/or pharmaceutical industries.
• Familiarity with estimating design and application of process equipment.
• Background in sales management.
• Proficient in computer operating systems and MS Office Suite.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Clean driving record is necessary.
• Valid Passport is needed.
• Typically, more than 40 hours per week will be necessary.
• Overnight travel, including weekends and holidays, will be required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to engage with employees and customers both verbally and in writing.
• Capability to remain in a stationary position for 80% of the workday.
• Ability to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and carry products, materials, and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.
