This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Expand both new and existing accounts by utilizing hygienic fluid handling components and equipment.
• Increase market share among customers within a designated area of Southern California.
• Focus on processors and OEMs in hygienic industries located within the assigned territory.
• Achieve year-over-year growth in distributed products and service categories.
• Analyze industry trends and shifts in target markets to guide CSI's sales strategy and value proposition.
• Advocate for CSI eCommerce usage and identify enhancements for the online store.
• Proactively reach out and quickly follow up on leads.
• Communicate effectively to promote CSI products and foster positive business relationships.
• Maintain responsibility for CSI's sales functions.
• Provide leadership and support to team members through professional and ethical behavior.
• Cultivate relationships between CSI staff and customer or prospect companies.
• Explore underserved areas and supply business intelligence to the Sales Manager-West.
• Build relationships with CSI support staff to enhance awareness and revenue.
• Utilize CSI personnel, capabilities, and selling systems to meet sales targets.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably with an emphasis in industrial technology or engineering.
• Experience in equipment sales within the food and/or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Familiarity with estimating the design and application of process equipment.
• Background in sales management.
• Proficient in computer operating systems and the MS Office Suite.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Clean driving record necessary.
• Valid Passport required.
• Typically, more than 40 hours per week will be expected.
• Overnight travel, including Saturday, Sunday, and holiday hours, will be necessary.
• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers both verbally and in writing.
• Capability to remain in a stationary position for 80% of the workday.
• Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.
• Capacity to occasionally lift, bend, stoop, and carry products, materials, and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.
