This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Develop business opportunities for Shield AI mainly in Belgium, NATO, and Luxembourg, with an emphasis on order fulfillment and growth.
• Frequently engage with clients and NATO representatives to showcase Shield AI's product offerings.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and various industry events to advocate for Shield AI products.
• Create and manage marketing initiatives and government relations opportunities.
• Establish and design structures for industry partnerships.
• Organize and carry out product demonstrations.
• Collaborate across functions to effectively address customer requirements.
• Oversee response to proposals.
• Formulate strategies for offsets.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation abilities; capable of communicating at all tiers of business and government.
• Charismatic leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate and inspire others.
• In-depth knowledge of military operations and the acquisition process.
• Over 6 years of pertinent experience in military, defense industry, or international business.
• Self-driven and results-focused, with a proven track record of achieving and surpassing goals and deadlines.
• Strong international connections with the ability to navigate diverse cultures and customs.
• Solid technical expertise in UAV and/or AI fields, or proven capacity to learn rapidly.
• Readiness and capability to travel internationally on a frequent basis without restrictions, including visits to customer locations.
• Team-oriented with the ability to communicate collaboratively while being direct and straightforward.
• Technical proficiency with systems necessary to operate at the pace of business.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant military education.
• Specific experience in strategy or business development within Europe, concentrating on Belgium, NATO, and Luxembourg.
• Experience working with NATO and NSPO, including FMF and FMS.
• Previous experience in UAV or AI business development in a defense-related setting.
• Demonstrated leadership and/or operational experience within the DoD or international equivalents like MoD.
• Familiarity with Army/Navy and other operational scenarios and systems.
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Applicable foreign language skills, especially in European languages.
