This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Comprehend the characteristics of an ideal client for MBA: Consumer Technology brands that possess uniquely differentiated technology, substantial funding/budget, and a robust marketing team.
• Emphasize recent media coverage, significant products, marketing strategies, and other pertinent details from tech blogs, lifestyle publications, Crunchbase, LinkedIn, trade show listings, and various sources.
• Create detailed background profiles for potential brands, encompassing key stakeholders, agencies, products/services, funding history, and brand messaging.
• Construct target lists for potential brands utilizing agency recommendations, personal research, and trade show directories.
• Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers for PR services.
• Gather contact information, including phone numbers, emails, LinkedIn profiles, and mailing addresses.
• Compile lists of events, tradeshows, and networking opportunities for Business Development executives.
• Organize and maintain prospect lists in Highrise, MBA's CRM system.
• Effectively categorize prospects and establish follow-up reminders.
• Obtain agency assets and assist in the creation of presentation decks and sales materials.
• Facilitate internal communication on behalf of the Business Development team to the larger agency.
• Perform preliminary outreach to select brands.
• Help coordinate and schedule calls.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google applications (Drive, Sheets, etc.) is required.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with employees at all levels within and outside the organization.
• Interest or understanding of startups, consumer technology, PR, and marketing.
• Resourceful, demonstrating the capability to execute tasks with minimal direction.
• Aspiration to transition into a sales-focused role.
