This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Take full ownership of acquiring new accounts from start to finish for trade and hospitality clients.
• Discover, target, and finalize new B2B accounts, including interior designers, design firms, hotels, and hospitality groups.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of larger accounts to encourage repeat purchases and foster long-term customer loyalty.
• Engage in both inbound and outbound calls directly with potential accounts.
• Utilize AI tools for prospecting, building lists, crafting messages, and following up.
• Develop and manage AI-driven workflows to enhance productivity and accelerate deal velocity.
• Formulate prompts, assess AI outputs, and iterate based on performance results.
• Monitor funnel metrics and maintain the health of the pipeline.
• Enhance CRM practices, ensuring consistent reporting and accurate forecasting.
• Create processes for lead routing, opportunity tracking, and follow-up activities.
• Explore methods to shorten sales cycles and boost conversion rates.
• Facilitate transitions with the owner of inbound and existing accounts.
• Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and vendor teams on inventory management and special orders.
• Establish a trade and hospitality pipeline from scratch and secure larger accounts that generate recurring, project-based revenue.
• 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within trade, design, hospitality, or a similar relationship-focused, high-touch sales setting.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing new accounts.
• Capability to work autonomously and remotely, with the self-discipline to manage a pipeline without daily supervision.
• Familiarity or comfort with utilizing AI tools for prospecting and outreach processes.
• Strong communication skills over the phone and in building relationships.
• Confidence in being the main point of contact and handling calls directly with prospects.
