
Business Development Executive β Cisco Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Drive quantifiable growth in Cisco software revenue, subscriptions, renewals, and enterprise purchasing programs.
β’ Oversee territory strategy for Cisco Enterprise Agreements, CX EA, IPA, WPA, and associated software initiatives.
β’ Identify, assess, and propel software-driven opportunities within current and potential customer accounts.
β’ Collaborate with account executives and engineering teams to cultivate a software pipeline and enhance deal momentum.
β’ Conduct high-level customer engagements with VP, CIO, CTO, and C-suite stakeholders.
β’ Equip field sales teams through training on Cisco licensing, software programs, lifecycle services, and adoption strategies.
β’ Design and implement demand-generation and marketing campaigns to boost software awareness and adoption.
β’ Advocate for ePlus services that improve software adoption, lifecycle management, and customer outcomes.
β’ Ensure accurate forecasting and territory planning while achieving or surpassing revenue targets.
β’ Collaborate with Cisco and internal stakeholders to synchronize go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in software, SaaS, subscription, cloud, or technology solution sales.
β’ Demonstrated business development experience in generating new revenue and pipeline growth.
β’ Preferred experience with Cisco software, licensing models, Enterprise Agreements, or lifecycle programs.
β’ Proven success in selling to executive decision-makers, including CIO, CTO, VP, and line-of-business leaders.
β’ Strong comprehension of recurring revenue models, renewals, software adoption, and customer success principles.
β’ Experience in matrixed sales organizations and influencing cross-functional teams.
β’ Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
β’ A bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ Preferred experience with Cisco Enterprise Agreements, Cisco Success Tracks, Cisco Lifecycle Incentives, Software Renewals, Customer Adoption Programs, Channel and Partner Sales, Managed Services and Professional Services, and Subscription-Based Business Models.
