This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement a targeted business development strategy for EFESO’s Chemicals division throughout the Americas.
• Cultivate and sustain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities within prioritized segments and accounts in the chemical industry.
• Build trusting relationships with C-suite executives and leaders in operations, manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, supply chain, and continuous improvement.
• Initiate new client accounts and enhance EFESO’s engagements with current and former clients.
• Comprehend clients’ operational and financial priorities, linking them with pertinent EFESO capabilities and expertise.
• Oversee opportunities from the initial engagement phase through qualification, solution design, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closure.
• Collaborate with EFESO Partners and subject-matter experts to create outcome-oriented client propositions.
• Uphold pipeline discipline, opportunity plans, and precise CRM forecasting.
• Represent EFESO at industry conferences, associations, and client gatherings.
• Supply market intelligence on client priorities, competitor activity, and emerging industry prospects.
• Assist strategic channels, including private equity firms, technology partners, and professional service organizations.
• Stay involved during project mobilization to facilitate the transition from sale to delivery and long-term account growth.
• Propel the growth of EFESO’s Chemicals division throughout the Americas.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations management, business, or a related field.
• Extensive business development, consulting, or industry experience in chemicals, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, or a closely associated process industry.
• Strong professional network within the North American chemicals market, especially at executive and senior operational levels.
• Proven success in initiating, developing, and concluding complex consulting or professional services engagements.
• Sales target of over $6 million annually.
• Practical understanding of chemical manufacturing operations and sector challenges, such as cost competitiveness, operational performance, maintenance and reliability, workforce productivity, supply chain, and capital effectiveness.
• Capability to engage credibly with corporate executives and plant leadership.
• Strong commercial acumen, including opportunity qualification, value proposition development, pricing, and negotiation.
• Collaborative working approach and ability to mobilize colleagues across various industries, capabilities, and regions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience utilizing CRM platforms for managing contacts, activities, pipelines, and forecasting.
• Ability to create professional proposals, presentations, and commercial reports.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Executive presence and credibility with senior client stakeholders.
• Strong commercial drive and personal accountability for results.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive mindset.
• Capability to operate effectively across diverse cultures, functions, and geographies.
