This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.
• Formulate and implement account strategies and strategic collaborations within designated strategic accounts.
• Deliver competitive insights and pinpoint cross-business-unit opportunities.
• Assist in pricing, margin, and deal-structure decisions in conjunction with Client Services.
• Collaborate with various business units to identify, position, and secure multi-unit opportunities.
• Enhance key client relationships through corporate account teams.
• Meet or surpass annual sales goals.
• Establish, develop, and maintain client relationships at appropriate decision-making tiers.
• Implement client call strategies, follow up on leads, and support an existing client base.
• Highlight business-unit strengths and unique selling propositions.
• Oversee opportunity pipeline, forecasting, and territory documentation.
• Set and manage client expectations to promote satisfaction and retention.
• Lead client presentations, assist in proposal development, and conduct client visits.
• Provide management with regular updates on sales activities.
• Operate across time zones and occasionally extend hours to meet client deadlines or participate in meetings.
• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent formal academic qualification.
• Relevant and equivalent experience may be accepted in place of educational qualifications.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire, maintain, and expand a strategic client portfolio, fostering sustained revenue growth.
• Proven skills in strategic selling, negotiation, executive presentations, and financial/business acumen.
• Developing understanding of business strategy with the capability to translate strategy into quantifiable commercial outcomes.
• Working familiarity with drug discovery and development principles.
• Strong customer relationship management skills and commercial judgment.
• Direct face-to-face negotiation experience with major clients.
• Exhibited executive presence and the ability to influence senior client stakeholders and internal leaders.
• Demonstrated organizational agility and consistent achievement of results in a matrixed environment.
• Experience in business development within the Clinical Research, Pharma, or Biotech sectors, selling services directly to pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
• Experience engaging directly with mid-level and executive-level decision-makers.
• Proven history of meeting significant sales targets.
• Willingness to travel frequently based on business needs.
• Frequent travel is necessary based on business requirements.
• Travel may reach up to 50%.
