This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Actively cultivate the sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, participation in events, and development of referrals.
• Assess the fundamental business needs behind initial inquiries and filter out opportunities that do not match Spiria’s area of expertise.
• Collaborate with technical teams to create service proposals and take responsibility for their final approval.
• Represent Spiria in front of executive-level and technical stakeholders.
• Work alongside the Marketing team to enhance the sales funnel without relying solely on inbound leads.
• Facilitate a smooth transition to the delivery and account management teams.
• Stay engaged in the ongoing growth of established accounts.
• Provide clients with guidance on custom software development projects, from product strategy through to delivery.
• Integrate AI as a core component of the service offerings or present it as an optional feature.
• Establish new accounts, nurture initial accounts, and contribute to the expansion of early engagements.
• Proven experience in developing new accounts within technology professional services, custom software development, consulting, or complex B2B solution sales.
• A true passion for new business development.
• Strong consultative selling abilities, including managing lengthy sales cycles, engaging multiple decision-makers, navigating undefined budgets, and crafting tailored proposals.
• Good judgment to discuss modernization, technical debt, architecture, risks, or project scoping without needing to have a developer background.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in French is a significant advantage in a pan-Canadian setting.
• Self-driven and detail-oriented, with the capability to manage a territory and keep a well-structured pipeline.
• Thoughtful application of AI tools to enhance research, preparation, follow-ups, and overall sales effectiveness.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a remote setting.
• Readiness and availability to travel occasionally for client meetings.
• An active professional network in financial services, insurance, manufacturing, defense, or aerospace is beneficial.
• Experience in a professional services firm is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Toronto market and its business and technology networks.
• Highly disciplined use of a CRM system, particularly HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Three weeks of vacation, or more based on experience.
• Five days off during the winter holiday season.
