This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take initiative to cultivate the pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, participating in events, and developing referrals.
• Assess business requirements behind initial inquiries and eliminate prospects that do not fit Spiria’s areas of expertise.
• Collaborate with technical teams to create service proposals and oversee their final approval.
• Act as a representative of Spiria when engaging with executive and technical stakeholders.
• Partner with Marketing to enhance the sales funnel without depending entirely on inbound leads.
• Facilitate a seamless transition to the Delivery and Account Management teams while continuing to support account growth.
• Provide guidance to clients on custom software development projects from product strategy to delivery.
• Offer consultancy to organizations in sectors such as manufacturing, defense, aerospace, financial services and insurance, health tech, and technology.
• Navigate intricate engagements involving multiple stakeholders and consultative sales processes that extend over several months.
• Interact with decision-makers including VPs of IT, VPs of Product, CIOs, Directors of Digital Transformation, Directors of Engineering, and other business leaders.
• Position AI as an integral part of, or as an option within, Spiria’s service offerings.
• Proven experience in developing new accounts within technology professional services, custom software development, consulting, or complex B2B solutions.
• Authentic hunter mindset with the capability to initiate conversations where there is no existing demand.
• Strong consultative selling abilities, particularly in long sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, undefined budgets, and customized proposals.
• Sound judgment to discuss topics such as modernization, technical debt, architecture, risk, or project scoping without requiring developer expertise.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in French is a valuable asset in a pan-Canadian context.
• Self-discipline and autonomy to manage a territory while maintaining a robust pipeline.
• Thoughtful application of AI tools for research, preparation, follow-ups, and enhancing sales effectiveness.
• Capacity to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
• Willingness and readiness to travel occasionally to meet clients.
• An active network in sectors like financial services, insurance, manufacturing, defense, or aerospace is advantageous.
• Experience in a professional services environment.
• Familiarity with the Toronto market and its business and technology networks.
• Strong CRM management skills, especially with HubSpot or Salesforce.
