This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Oversee business development and territory management for organizations in the Independent Broker/Dealer sector.
• Collaborate with the partner Account Executive to formulate territory strategy planning.
• Evaluate market data, trends, consumer preferences, and competitor actions to enhance client and territory expansion.
• Facilitate the development and acquisition of new advisor-client relationships throughout the purchasing process.
• Design and execute joint growth strategies.
• Inspire potential clients to adopt change and convert their business.
• Generate new interest and leads from prospective clients.
• Manage inorganic leads through the sales pipeline.
• Interact with clients and prospective clients through in-person meetings, online meetings, phone calls, emails, and both in-person and virtual presentations.
• Propel sales initiatives and support the health of advisor-client engagement.
• Educate and influence clients utilizing SEI’s solutions across custody, technology, asset management, and business-focused services.
• Manage a territory encompassing Ohio and Kentucky.
• Report directly to a Managing Director and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Solutions, and Service teams.
• At least 7 years of experience in financial services client sales and service support.
• Direct experience in IBD channel sales is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• MBA and/or CFP® designation is preferred.
• Current NASAA Series 65 or Series 66 license, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.
• Extensive experience with various communication channels, including face-to-face interactions, one-to-many presentations, virtual presentations, live video, recorded video, phone, and email.
• Capability to influence decision-making at the highest organizational levels.
• Proven background in consultative sales.
• Track record of success in territory management, including strategic planning, execution, and travel.
• Exceptional time-management, organizational, and mentoring abilities.
• Demonstrated history of surpassing goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in client relationship management and buyer satisfaction.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.
