This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, qualify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and funding within the realms of risk management education, patient safety, and accredited medical education.
• Engage with healthcare organizations, insurance companies, pharmaceutical firms, and other funding sources.
• Seek potential leads and connect with decision-makers utilizing CRM tools and established relationships, including Salesforce and LinkedIn Navigator.
• Showcase product features and articulate the RMPS portfolio services through calls, web conferences, and face-to-face meetings.
• Develop and present proposals and grant applications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create educational program concepts that align with client and funding priorities.
• Oversee the sales and award lifecycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and completion.
• Conduct financial negotiations and compliance evaluations.
• Forecast, report, and monitor pipeline activity, revenue, and grant opportunities.
• Attend conferences, trade shows, and meetings to generate leads and enhance client relationships.
• Ensure adherence to ACCME, PhRMA, FDA, and organizational policies.
• Engage in educational strategy planning and identify gaps in professional practice within medical literature.
• Contribute to the design of educational platforms and supply content for grant submissions, letters of intent, and information requests.
• Draft educational needs assessments and manage freelance writers as required.
• Perform additional assigned responsibilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred; an advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate in a medical or scientific discipline) is necessary for clinical strategy roles.
• A minimum of five years of experience in B2B sales, grant development, or business development is required.
• For medical education roles: experience in business development within medical education, healthcare, or the pharmaceutical/medical device industry is essential.
• For clinical strategy roles: 3 to 5 years of experience in medical writing, clinical content development, CME/CE program strategy, or related healthcare fields is required.
• Knowledge of the healthcare risk management market, medical malpractice insurance market, and complex broker relationships is preferred.
• Proven ability to meet or surpass sales targets and secure program funding or grants.
• Understanding of sales cycles, account management, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Proficient in delivering persuasive presentations, product demonstrations, and tailored proposals.
• Experience in finalizing large, intricate deals/contracts.

• Ability to work remotely without daily in-person supervision.
